Crystal Williams, CEO of MetaLogix, Inc., has been named to the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Defense Business Association. “It is a privilege to sit on the Board of Directors of the NC Defense Business Association; I am proud to play a role in the important work the organization is doing in the defense community,” said Williams.
Crystal brings 14 years of business; healthcare and technology experience to MetaLogix, Inc. serving as Director for a multi-million dollar technology consulting business where she is responsible for the Corporate Strategy, Division Performance, Business Development, Communications, and Human Resources/Sustainability. Crystal’s other experience includes working within the healthcare services industry, and founding a healthcare services start-up company that was acquired in 2011. She has a vast knowledge and experience with finance, financial reporting, treasury and cash management, acquisition, post-acquisition integration, corporate asset/liability management, software conversions, human resources and information technology.
Crystal joined the United States Army shortly after her graduation from High School. During her 10 year military career—first in the US Army and then the US Army Reserves she received the Armed Forces reserve medal and Army service ribbon. Crystal also served honorably during the War on Terror- Operation Enduring Freedom where she earned the national defense service medal. Crystal was recognized by CRN Magazine as one of Top Women of the Technology Channel in 2013 as well as being named by the Charlotte Business Journal Forty under Forty and Top Women in Business. She also received recognition from the Mecklenburg Times as one of the Fifty Most Influential Women in 2013.
Crystal is a member of Woman in Defense, National Association of Woman Business Owners, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the American Legion. She also serves as the Business Professional Women NC Women Joining Forces Chair. As well as UNC Charlotte Athletic Foundation Board of Directors. She lives in South Charlotte with her husband and two children.
